To help you, our current and about to be friends, I’ve created this page to help you find your way around the site.
My postings from March until August 2019, sharing my feelings and introducing what happens in these situations in India. This was after the sad and untimely death of my beautiful wife Manjula on 23rd March 2019. Click below to find a descriptive list with links to specific postings. Some readers have fed back that this has helped them gain insights into our life and a perspective on their own grief. Click here to find the postings from March and April and here for postings from April to August.

Factly Fawlty Fiction my attempt at creating stories. Here’s some examples
1. Mysore View, an alternative take on the city where we live.
2. Magic Roundabout, a reimagined ending at a music festival in England.
3. Looking for a home. ….. so who is it about?
4. Forever Together based on a true story
Be gentle with me, this is a completely new thing. They are fiction but with some elements of real life. I hope they will get better over time and look forward to your feedback to help me reflect, review and improve.
It’s a big challenge, for a Yorkshireman, is to learn proper English and write.

There are various postings of me reading stories, mainly from published picture books for the young and old alike. All are or will be classics. To help those in lockdown at this time of virus. Just search storytime to get the latest.

Our story. A great team are helping me collect reminiscences, stories and insights into Manjula and her life. This, together with material from the audio recordings made by Manjula in Kannada (subsequently transcribed by our friend Vidya), videos of Manjula talking to camera in English, friends recollections and her regular conversations with me will help me write our story.
This will take sometime..
In the meantime, the real-time postings of Manjula and I over the past seven years can be found under his and hers… our story, above.
