To help you, our current and about to be friends, I’ve created this page to help you find your way around the site.

My postings from March until August 2019, sharing my feelings and introducing what happens in these situations in India. This was after the sad and untimely death of my beautiful wife Manjula on 23rd March 2019. Click below to find a descriptive list with links to specific postings. Some readers have fed back that this has helped them gain insights into our life and a perspective on their own grief. Click here to find the postings from March and April and here  for postings from April to August.

Our Story: His and Herstory…. our adventures over the past seven years that were posted as they happened. You will find postings up until February 2019. Click here to find a detailed list with links.

Factly Fiction or Magical Realism, Stephens attempt at creating stories. Click here to find a list. Some stories will relate to India and maybe us. It’s really a list of ‘short’ creative writing, tall tales. A completely new thing for Stephen. They are fiction but with some elements of real life. I hope they will get better over time and look forward to your feedback to help me reflect, review and improve. The first challenge, for a Yorkshireman, is to learn proper English.

no they’re not here yet…. 🙂

Manjula’s story. Over the next few months I will be posting instalments introducing Manjula’s Memoir, from birth and into the future. The material for this is taken from the audio recordings made by Manjula in Kannada (subsequently transcribed by our friend Vidya), videos of Manjula talking to camera in English, friends recollections and her regular conversations with me. So it’s not fiction, honestly.

The real-time postings of Manjula and I over the past seven years can be found under his and hers… our story, above. They are posted!

Odds and sods, a mish mash of everything else. Click here to find a list with hypertext links
